Mr and Mrs Fine Wine, Southwell, helping those affected by the Australian bush fires by donating 10% of sales of Australian wines




Wine buffs can help an overseas crisis by buying a bottle of Australian vino.

Chris and Gosia Bailey, of Mr and Mrs Fine Wine on Church Street, Southwell, have pledged their support to help those affected by the Australian bush fires by donating 10% of all sales of their Australian wines.

The money will go to the Australian Red Cross.

Sarah Hepworth, shop manager (pictured) said: “We are heavily involved with Australian wine and it’s just a little something we thought we could do to help.

“We wanted to help keep the crisis in Australia in people’s minds, and we have got a huge range of Australian wines to suit everyone’s taste and budget.”

The pledge, taking place thoughout January, will go towards the charity’s efforts to help those affected by the devastating bush fires which have destroyed huge parts of New South Wales and South Australia.
