Tallents Solicitors to offer Will Aid appointments at its Newark, Southwell and Mansfield offices

A solicitors’ office is supporting Will Aid to encourage more people to write a will.

Sarah Allen, a partner at Tallents Solicitors and head of wills, trusts and probate believes it has never been more important for people to write a will.

She and her team are participating in Will Aid in November, a charity will-writing scheme which encourages people to have professionally drawn-up wills and to raise money for charity at the same time.

So that more people than ever before can write a will, Tallents Solicitors’ Newark, Southwell and Mansfield offices all have appointments available.

The firm is participating in the national will writing campaign to raise awareness of the importance of having a will, and recently launched their Will Aid campaign to get more people writing wills.

They were joined by John Coulthurst, community legacy manager for the British Red Cross, which is one of the charities which benefits from the money raised during Will Aid month.

Through Will Aid, solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic single or joint will during November and instead invite clients to make a voluntary donation to the nine Will Aid charities.

Sarah explained that it’s sensible to have a will professionally drafted to ensure that it meets the needs of today’s complex family dynamics, as well as covering issues such as digital assets.

November appointments to write a will are available to book now at the three Tallents offices, on 01636 671881 (Newark), 01636 813411 (Southwell) or 01623 666700 (Mansfield).
