Newark and Sherwood District Council issue removal notice on caravan flytipped in layby on Grange Lane near Cotham
A caravan has been flytipped in a layby in a village.
The abandoned vehicle, which has smashed in windows and a dirty interior, was found just off Grange Lane near Cotham.
A Newark and Sherwood District Council notice has been stuck to the side of the caravan stating it seemed to be abandoned and ought to be destroyed.
The notice issued on January 21 gave seven days for the owner to remove the caravan.
It has yet to be removed either by the owner or the district council, despite the council stating it would be taken for destruction after the specified time.
The council has been approached for comment.
