Care home expansion planned

There are plans to provide 15 more bedrooms at a Newark care home, modernise existing facilities and build tea rooms.

Heritage Care, which owns and runs Millbank Care Home on Millgate, consulted with residents of the home and neighbours.

They plan to submit an application to Newark and Sherwood District Council to increase the number of bedrooms from 23 to 38.
