Eden Futures care team makes finals of Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards
A team from Eden Futures in Ollerton, which provides support services for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues, reached the finals of this year’s Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards, at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.
The Cherry Tree Close team was shortlisted for the Making A Difference Award.
The team has led a number of initiatives in the last two years aimed at delivering positive outcomes to supported clients and encouraging them to lead independent lives.
Dawn Berry, Eden Futures’ chief executive, said: “As a supported living provider, Eden Futures is continually striving to provide the best possible care and support, and our finalists’ nomination is recognition of the team’s commitment to ensuring they make a real difference to people’s lives every day.
“We are honoured to have such dedicated professionals like the Cherry Tree Close team working with us.”
The team reached the national finals after winning the Making A Difference category at Eden Futures’ internal awards, the Excellence Awards, earlier this year.
