Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service urge residents not to block streets with their cars

A spokesman from an area fire station is urging people to ensure that they do not block streets with their vehicles.

A swift response can be hindered by something as simple as improperly parked vehicles or cluttered streets.

A spokesman from the Southwell Fire Station asked: “Would we be able to get down your street if you were to need us in an emergency?”

“Every second counts, so make sure you think before you park.”
