Cat owners in Calverton fearful after fatal poisonings

There are fears for cats in Calverton after more than 20 animals have died from suspected poisoning.

Mr Lee Poole and Mr Nick Lawlor, who both lost their pets to poisoning, have been running a campaign to find out what's behind the recent deaths.

They believe the cats have been deliberately targeted with antifreeze.

Their campaign began when their cats had to be put down and vets found they had consumed toxic substances.

The RSPCA and police are investigating the incidents and are keeping an open mind on the possible cause.
