Technology recycling store CeX opens in Newark town centre and has 10 job vacancies




A technology recycling store has opened its doors in Newark town centre, creating ten new jobs.

CeX buys, sells and exchanges phones, games, laptops, cameras, among other things.

The store opened on Stodman Street and expects to pay out over £400,000 to the people of Newark within the next year.

Store manager Nathen Trask said: “It’s been great, on Friday we opened with a soft launch.

“We did the proper open on Saturday and people in town seem pretty happy that we are here.

“We waited a long time to come to Newark, we were waiting for the right building to become available and then we had the work.

“It’s a town we definitely had our eye on for a long time and finally we are here.”

The shop offers a two-year warranty on everything and people can trade their old gadgets, phones and games.
