It was named garden of the week in Garden News, in May 2023.

It promises to showcase imaginative planting, with something different to see every year.

April brings displays of daffodils, hyacinths and tulips along with erythroniums, brunneras, and primulas — all set among established trees, shrubs, and shady paths, which give a charming country setting.

The summer months will see wisteria, magnolias, rhododendrons, and apple blossom make an appearance.

The garden also has a large vegetable and fruit patches, with an orchard and flower meadow.

Plants will be for sale and refreshments available, during the opening times of 11am to 4.30pm.
