A new Osprey Charging Network electric vehicle charging hub opened at The Maltings Retail Park, Northgate, Newark
A new public high-powered electric vehicle charging hub has been installed at a retail park.
The four high-powered EV chargers were installed at The Maltings Retail Park on Northgate, Newark.
The 150 kilowatts chargers will add up to 100 miles of range in around 20 minutes of charge, depending on the model of the vehicle and its battery.
The hub is owned by Osprey Charging Network, one of the UK’s largest and leading electric vehicle charging networks.
The chargers were designed with simple payment options for drivers. It accepts contactless bank cards, Apple and Google Pay, the Osprey App and RFID card payment, as well as payments through all major third-part payment methods including fleet cards.
Osprey Charging chief executive Ian Johnston said: “The electric transition is well under way and we are here to provide a reliable and rapid public charging service for drivers, from Cornwall to Scottish Highlands.
“Each of our new locations is carefully designed to maximise space, accessibility and availability of chargers, working to the latest and highest standards.
“This new charging hub at The Maltings Retail Park in Newark is a vital part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK.”
