Rosie May Founation's seasonal campaign spreads cheer about town




The Rosie May foundation has been spreading Easter cheer around Newark with it’s Easter Bunny Campaign.

Zena Unitt, community fundraising co-ordinator at the Rosie May Foundation, has been visiting schools and dance schools in Ruby the little electric tuktuk accompanied by a very bouncy Easter Bunny.

The Rosie May Foundation’s vision is a world in which every child grows up within a safe, nurturing family and has a positive future, which the foundation aims to do through giving the gift of education.

The Easter Bunny Campaign raised money for children in Sri Lanka to have after school English lessons, which will lead to better job prospects and more positive futures.

After eating free Smarties, children filled the empty tubes with coins, all of which go directly to achieve the charity’s mission.
