A child was arrested for a public order offence at Ollerton skatepark.
Sherwood Police have arrested a youngster in relation to antisocial behaviour at Ollerton Skatepark.
Police have been called several times to the skatepark over the last few days regarding groups of children gathering and drinking, and then throwing rubbish and stones at nearby property.
Officers have confirmed that a child was arrested for a public order offence, and alcohol has been taken and poured away.
A spokesman for Sherwood police said: "The park is for everyone's enjoyment and we very much want that to continue. The majority of children using the park are respectful of their neighbours and we hope they understand and share our concerns. Local residents are also entitled to the quiet enjoyment of their property, some of them are vulnerable too.
"If the antisocial behaviour continues we will have no choice but to enforce the law and prosecute those responsible. We will also seek alternative arrangements for the use of the park.
"This is something we do not want to do but if these problems continue we may have little choice."
