William Ghent House in Balderton raises more than £800 with annual Christmas

A Christmas fair raised money more than £800 for users of a community centre.
Through a raffle, crafts, games and cake sales, a total of £839 was raised towards a Christmas dinner and party at William Ghent House in Balderton.
Chairman Eileen Clare said the total surpassed the previous year’s and the fair proved to be a big success.
The Christmas fair has been an annual event for 33 years.
