Newark: Combat knife, long-handled axe and bill hook found during stop and search

Police discovered a combat knife, long-handled axe and and bill hook when they searched a vehicle.

Officers from Op Reacher were patrolling Newark when they stopped the vehicle.

In the boot was a combat knife, long handled axe and a long-handled bill hook.

The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of offensive weapons and has since been charged to court.
