Nottinghamshire Police take part in community engagement at Country Kids Day Nursery in Kneesall

Children from a nursery got to meet Nottinghamshire Police officers recently.

The Sherwood Neighbourhoods Policing Team visited Country Kids Day Nursery in Kneesall for a community engagement exercise.

The children were shown uniforms and some even tried on the police clothing.

Visiting officer told the children how police can help them.

“A few were very keen to take the car for a drive, unfortunately one budding cops feet couldn't reach the pedals,” joked a spokesman from the force.
