Edwinstowe Fire Station drives foodbank help with assistance from local community in Nottinghamshire

Firefighters from a fire station have thanked their community for responding to a food drive.

Edwinstowe Fire Station was the drop-off point for recent effects to collect for a food bank to help people in their community.

"We are grateful for the incredible support," said a Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesman.

"Thank you to everyone who dropped off food at the station for the food bank.

"Your generosity makes a real difference.

"Let's keep the momentum going because every contribution counts."
