Pro Flooring moving into former Vespa showroom on Lombard Street, Newark

A business has expanded into a shop that has sat empty for a number of years.

Pro Flooring now occupies to 37 Lombard Street, Newark, previously a Vespa saleroom.

It marks a large expansion for the business, owned by Nathan King.

The business, which was in The Arcade, specialises in carpets, vinyl, wood and laminate flooring.

Nathan said: “I’ll have a lot more samples and a lot more variety for people to look at.

“There’s a lot more traffic that goes past the Lombard Street shop than my shop now, so hopefully it will mean more business.

“Obviously it has been empty for quite a while, but I hope life will be put back into it when done up.”
