Centrum Pile puts support behind Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's conservation efforts in Newark
A manufacturer has teamed up with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to help pay for vital conservation and restoration work in the Newark area.
Centrum Pile has announced a new corporate partnership with the trust, and will also become corporate sponsor of the Beacon Hill Conservation Park in Newark, and a business supporter of the Nottinghamshire Nature Reserves Fund.
“It is heartening that Centrum Pile recognises the importance of investing in and protecting their local environment and will be working with our conservation team to improve their site in Newark for wildlife,” said Holly McCain, senior development officer at Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
“We look forward to Centrum Pile’s staff visiting the nature reserve and seeing how their company is funding wildlife conservation work on their doorstep.”
Since its launch in the UK in 1993, Centrum Pile has recognised that concern for the environment should be an integral and fundamental part of its business.
General manager Paul Pendleton said: “We are looking forward to developing a long and fruitful relationship with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, an organisation dedicated to the improvement of local areas and wildlife where our employees live.
“Here at Centrum Pile, we maintain a trained and competent workforce, and we hope that the partnership will further provide our staff members with the appropriate resources to ensure our environmental, CSR and health and wellbeing policies are implemented in full.”
