Delays on A46 Newark bypass clear following motorcycle accident

Heavy traffic was reported on the A46 Newark bypass after a motorcyclist came off his bike.

The accident happened near the Cattlemarket roundabout at around 9.55am.

Highways England reported delays of around 10 minutes in the area.

Police and paramedics were at the scene dealing with the incident.

Nottinghamshire Police said there were no details of injuries but the man appeared to be conscious.
