Heavier than usual traffic is reported on the road, which is likely to be caused by the closure of Farndon Road due to flooding.

The Southbound carriageway also has delays between the Winthorpe interchange and Cattle Market roundabout.

Congestion is also reported in Newark town centre, the Great North Road and the A616 Ollerton Road, near Little Carlton.

Delays of seven minutes and increasing are reported on the A616 westbound, with an average speed of ten mph.
