TWO Lithuanian men who pleaded guilty to having offensive weapons were sentenced by Nottingham magistrates.
Edgaras Jucys, of Sleaford Road, Newark, was handed a 12-month community order and told to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work for having a friction lock baton at the White Hart Wine Bar, Newark.
The 20-year-old must attend a Thinking Skills programme for 31 days as a part of the order and was ordered to pay £175 in costs.
Martynas Bruzas, of Appletongate, Newark, must carry out 100 hours of community service for having a knuckleduster on White Hart Yard, Worksop.
Bruzas, also 20, was told to pay £175 in costs.
A NEWARK man threatened someone at the Water's Edge Bar and Kitchen, Newark, magistrates heard.
Danny Nicholson, 27, of Cherry Holt, Newark, was fined £160 and told to pay £115 in costs after his guilty plea.
A DRINK driver who used a vehicle without a licence and insurance was given a 12-month community order, and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
Irinel Grigore, 40, of Millgate, Newark, was found to have 90mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath on Lincoln Road and Harvest Drive. The legal limit is 35.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 23 months and ordered to pay £175 in costs.
A MAN pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and insurance on the A60.
Vasilica Toma, 35, of Vernon Street, Newark, was given a 12-month community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
He was ordered to pay £175 in costs and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for six months.
A MAN was fined £440 because he failed to give identification of a driver to a police officer who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Graham Field, 60, of Humberstone Road, Southwell, pleaded guilty to committing the same offence on a separate occasion and was ordered to pay £129 in costs.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for six months.
