COURT LISTINGS: Hospital bed set on fire and theft of 12 steaks
A WOMAN who set fire to a hospital bed was conditionally discharged for three years at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
Ramona Vieru, 28, of Lenton Terrace, Millgate, Newark, admitted arson, causing £100 of damage, to the NHS Foundation Trust bed.
She was told to pay £100 in compensation and had costs of £105 awarded against her.
A WOMAN who admitted three shop thefts was sentenced to a 12 month community order.
Jay Parkinson, of the Russell House Hostel, London Road, Newark, admitted the theft of £40 of groceries, £30 of meat, and 12 steaks worth £95, all from Co-op.
The 29-year-old was also fined a total of £45 and told to pay £100 compensation to Co-op.
The offences were admitted.
THE registered keeper of a vehicle who failed to identify the driver of that vehicle when they were suspected of being guilty of a criminal offence has been disqualified from getting behind the wheel for six months.
Simon Attenborough, 26, of Main Street, Aslockton, was also fined £660 and told to pay costs of £151.
The case against him was proved.
