AN UNINSURED driver pleaded guilty to taking a car without permission and driving without a licence.
Rhys Sewell, 21, of no fixed address, took a car on Stirling Drive, Coddington, and was discharged conditionally for 18 months.
He was ordered to pay £117 in costs.
Sewell further admitted to driving the same car without a licence or insurance and was fined £75, as well as, obtaining eight points on his driving record.
A MAN was given a 12-month community order for the possession of drugs and an offensive weapon.
Mitchell Campey, of Green Walk, Aslockton, pleaded guilty to having knuckle dusters in a public place.
The 23-year-old also admitted to the possession of cannabis and cannabis resin.
He was told to pay £170 in costs and comply with 60 hours of unpaid work.
A 19-YEAR-OLD pleaded guilty to driving away from petrol stations without paying.
David Chilvers, of Ossington Road, Norwell, was given a 12-month community order for fuel thefts at a number of Newark petrol stations.
He was ordered not to enter the petrol stations, pay £170.02 in compensation and £170 in costs.
Chilvers must also comply with 60 hours of unpaid work.
A DRINK-DRIVER was fined £740 and disqualified from driving for 14 months.
Andrew Dunlop, 38, of Macbeth Moir, Edinburgh, pleaded guilty to being under the influence with a measurement of 113mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood on Windsor Road, Newark.
He also admitted harassing a person on Northgate, Newark, and was fined £500 and ordered to pay £159 in costs.
Dunlop also admitted a breach of a 12-month conditional discharge for the possession of a class A drug.
A WOMAN pleaded guilty to the possession of a class A drug.
Rebecca Amy Kidson, of Mather Road, Newark, was found with cocaine on Victoria Street.
The 32-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in costs.
A MAN was found guilty after he harassed a married couple.
Mervin Lewis, of Fosse Way, Car Colston, was fined £150 and paid £350 in costs after he used abusive language towards his neighbours.
The 58-year-old was also given a restraining order and told not to contact the victims.
A 31-YEAR-OLD was discharged conditionally for 12 months after he committed criminal damage.
Darryl Coulter, of Wolfit Avenue, Balderton, pleaded guilty to damaging fixtures and furnishings at a Newark and Sherwood Homes property.
He was ordered to pay £106 in costs and further pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail.
A UNINSURED driver had his case proved against him.
Daniel Alexandru Jancsi, of Victoria Street, Newark, drove a car on London Road without insurance.
The 24-year-old was fined £660 and ordered to pay £151 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
