Cracking day of Easter activities at Coddington Village Hall
A cracking day of Easter events was held in a church fundraiser over the weekend.
An Easter Egg-stravaganza was held at Coddington Village Hall on Saturday morning, organised by All Saints’ Church.
It featured a variety of egg-themed activities for children and families of all ages to help raise money for the church.
There was a craft table where children were making Easter gardens, as well as a chocolate Easter Egg tombola, a hunt-the- bunny competition, where children used an old map of Coddington to look for a bunny hidden in the village, and a count the eggs in the jar competition, as well as a find the golden egg prize.
All of the money raised during the morning were for All Saints Church, and a total of £178 was raised.
Organiser Sheila Bache said: “We would like to thank everyone who helped and came along and supported the event.
“Without them, we wouldn’t raise the much-needed funds for our village church.
“We wish more people had come.
“We appreciate that weekends are busy but people need to support their village community more. But overall the event was a success.”
