Craft fair to take place at St Giles Church on Main Street, Balderton
A craft fair raising funds for a church and its hall aims to create a safe space for the community to enjoy.
Tina Barker, of Newark, is organising a craft fair at St Giles Church, Main Street, Balderton, this Sunday (March 2).
Starting at 10am until 1pm, the event is raising funds to upkeep the two buildings.
“I've always raised money for the church and the hall over the years when I worked at a local supermarket and now I am not working I still wanted to do something for them,” said Tina.
The stalls available include fresh flowers, diamond art, handmade cards, button art, jewellery, handmade bags and aprons, paintings, seasonal wreaths, resin art, frame art, decoupage, faux cakes, 3D printing, laser engraving on wood, handmade bows and slimming world.
“I just want it to be a real community event that everyone can enjoy,” the organiser added.
