Crews tackle fire on Northern Road in Newark

A store room has been damaged in a fire on Northern Road in Newark.

Firefighters from Newark and Collingham were called to a blaze at a premises on Northern Road at 11.23am today (Saturday).

Firefighters used hose reels, a jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze as well as eight breathing apparatus.

Crews were at the scene until around 1.30pm.


An earlier version of this story incorrectly referred to the fire being on Great North Road.
