Several crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue tackle blaze at Ranskill

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue crews from across the county worked together to tackle a blaze over the weekend.

Edwinstowe Fire Station joined crews from Worksop, Harworth, and Retford to fight a fire on Blyth Road, Ranskill yesterday (Sunday).

Drivers were advised to avoid the area while the fire was being extinguished as the road was closed.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service updated the public that the fire had been dealt with at 10.30am.

They also advised that the road had been re-opened.
