Crash between two lorries blocked the A46 near Newark, Nottinghamshire

A collision has been reported on a major road causing delays.

The crash occurred between two lorries at around 1.40pm today on the A46 near Newark, (Thursday) according to Nottinghamshire Police.

The Vehicles blocked the road in both directions between the A1 and the A617.

The crash had caused severe traffic jams in the area.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident.
