B&M opens second Newark store in Northgate Retail Park
A discount retailer is off to a flying start after it opened its second store in Newark.
B&M opening in Northgate Retail Park on June 4 and is an addition to an existing store on Albert Street, but much bigger.
With more than 13,828ft of sales space, the Northgate store offers an even bigger selection of great bargains.
New staff were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the community.
They chose the team from Homestart Newark to take centre stage, who officially opened the new B&M store.
Homestart work alongside parents in their own homes to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life and make sure they have the skills, time and strength they need to nurture their children.
They support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children.
In addition to opening the store, the team also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers, which will go towards the charity's vital work.
The store manager said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors, the feedback so far has been fantastic.
“A big thank you to the team at Home start Newark who helped us open the store, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people.”
Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries at great prices including a range of food, drink and pet food.
There will also be a selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.
