Bingham: Cotgrave dog walker appeals for people to stop pooing in her local woods

A dog walker is appealing for people to stop pooing in her local woods.

The disgusted resident said she could understand that someone may have been caught short, but that this was the third occasion.

Responding on Facebook to the discovery in Dial Woods, Cotgrave, she said her dog managed to find the human faeces every time and roll in it.

"Please could I ask (I’m really not sure why I actually have to say this) that people stop pooing in the Dial woods," she wrote.

"Before anyone says, I know the difference between fox and human.

"I understand that someone may have been caught short but this is the third time it’s happened."

Reacting to the post, someone commented: "I’ve had the same experience twice as well but each time my dog tries to eat it — disgusting."

Another added: "That is seriously messed up. I would rather give my dog away than have to clean that off. Respect to you."

One person joked: "I think you are all forgetting the Cotgrave Bigfoot, looks like he's is back in the woods and pooping to let us know."
