Dog rescued from the River Trent

Specialist firefighters rescued a dog from the River Trent by Newark Castle today, Christmas Day.
The crew came from the specialist rescue unit based at Tuxford Fire Station. They were called out at 5pm and had the rescued the dog within half an hour.
