Toni and Guy building in Newark, Nottinghamshire to be used for fire fighter fundraising challenge to raise money for The Firefighter’s Charity in Nottinghamshire




The public are asked not to be alarmed when they see firefighters in a town square climbing a ladder up the side of a hairdresser's premises.

Thursday (December 14) will see 12 trainee firefighters doing a ladder challenge on the Toni and Guy hairdressing salon building in Newark.

The firefighters will be climbing the combined height of the three peaks in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

They will be there from 10am climbing to raise funds.

"Don’t be alarmed if you see firefighters scaling the Toni and Guy building on Thursday," said a spokesman from the salon.

"It’s all for a good cause."
