Driving with no insurance and speeding matters come before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court




A driver with a history of taking to the roads without insurance was fined £660 and banned from getting behind the wheel for six months.

Syzmon Czlonka, aged 29, of Hawthorne Crescent, Farndon, had the case proven against at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.

Czlonka was caught drving a Chevrolet on Hawton Lane.

He also had six penalty points added to his driving record and was told to pay £90 costs, meaning a total bill of more than £1,000.

A motorist who was driving more double the limit was awarded six penalty points and fined £683.

Brandon Loveday, Nottingham magistrates heard, was clocked driving a Mercedes at 65mph in a 30mph on Lincoln Road.

Loveday, 30, was instructed to pay £363 costs after pleading guilty to speeding.

A driver who exceeded the national speed limit on the A46 dual carriageway at Farndon was sentenced to a 35-day disqualification at the discretion of magistrates.

23-year-old Callum Miller, of Queens Court, Bingham, was also fined £461, told to pay £274 in costs after entering a guilty plea.
