Driver dies after Coddington crash

A man has died after a road crash in Coddington this morning.
Two cars and a lorry collided on the A17 at around 7.50am.
A man driving one of the cars was trapped inside and was freed by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. He suffered multiple serious injuries and was taken to hospital via air ambulance.
The man, thought to be a 59-year-old from Lowestoft, later died at hospital. His family have been informed.
The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed while officers carried out their enquiries and has now been reopened.
