Driver robbed in layby
Police are hunting three robbers who stole tools and copper piping from a van in Fiskerton.
A man was sat in his van in a layby in Staythorpe Lane when he was approached by three men at around 11.30pm on Friday.
They threatened the 32-year-old man and demanded he open the back of his van.
The robbers stole copper piping, 12 water meter units, and two DeWalt yellow and black drills.
They fled the scene in a white Ford Transit van, which had a crumpled and dented sliding door.
The first robber is described as being white, of slim build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He was aged between 33 and 40-year's-old and had short, mousey-blond hair.
He had stubble with distinctive dark eyebrows and was wearing dark denim jeans, black work boots and a dark duffle coat with large cork-type buttons.
The second man was white, aged between 35 and 40, slim to medium build, with short, dark ginger hair.
He was clean-shaven and wearing white trainers, pale stone wash jeans and a black hooded top with a silver Adidas logo on the front.
The third robber was white, aged between 35 and 40, of slim to medium build, with short light brown or dark blond hair. He was clean shaven was wearing a dirty white jumper, and blue work trousers, which had holes for kneepads.
