Skipton Building Society’s staff give Egg-straordinary Easter donations to the Children’s Bereavement Centre, Newark
More than 100 Easter eggs are making their way to bereaved children.
Skipton Building Society’s staff and customers have donated a huge number of Easter eggs to the Children’s Bereavement Centre, Newark, to help raise the spirits of children who are going through a difficult time.
The building society has been running the initiative for the past few years, appealing to their staff and customers to donate an Easter egg, and this year 104 chocolate eggs were donated to the centre.
Skipton’s financial adviser Illa Pujara said: “We have got so many lovely customers and some gave us some money as well as an egg.
“This year we tried to keep the eggs smaller so that one child wasn’t having a large, expensive one and another a small one.
“Earlier in the year we even had customers come in asking us if we were running the Easter egg donation again because they wanted to donate. The staff at the Bereavement Centre were thrilled to have so many.”
