Newark-based technology company The Barcode Warehouse designated as an Authorised UK Datalogic Repair Centre, enhancing customer service and sustainability
Efficiency and environmental impacts have been improved as a tech company brings more world-class services to town.
Business technology solutions integrator The Barcode Warehouse, based in Newark, has now been designated as an authorised UK Datalogic Repair Centre, meaning its customers no longer need to ship their devices to Europe for repair.
The business marks the status as a testament to its dedication to enhancing customer experience, and claim it will have a profound impact on Datalogic technology customers.
The company is already a Datalogic Diamond Partner and Android Enterprise Gold Partner, service provider, and device reseller.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Barcode Warehouse on their Service Repair Centre status, where a shared commitment to customer satisfaction meets a dedication to sustainability.
“Recognising the importance of a greener future, The Barcode Warehouse’s repair centre ensures customer’s needs are met locally by trusted individuals while aligning with our eco-friendly practices. It’s more than just a repair service; it’s a one stop shop for trusted advice, reinforcing our pledge to customer satisfaction,” said Stephen Butler, regional director for UK, ROI, Nordics and Baltics at Datalogic.
Barcode Warehouse Datalogic customers will now be able to return faulty Datalogic devices under a warranty or repair service directly to its Newark facility, which eliminates the need for customers to liaise with multiple parties and ship their devices to Slovakia, as is currently required.
It aims to provide a more sustainable, convenient and efficient service and customers are also set to benefit from reduced wait times.
Repair services at The Barcode Warehouse’s Authorised Datalogic Repair Centre will cover the Skorpio 5, Memor 10 and Memor 11, and be carried out by extensively trained, skilled technicians with Datalogic-certified spare parts and testing tools to guarantee the quality of each repair.
Mark Duignan, technical services director at The Barcode Warehouse, added: “I am personally thrilled to be going live with our Datalogic Repair Centre. We have been working on this for some time, in response to customer demand and the clear need to deliver a more sustainable solution to keep our Datalogic customers up and running.
“This is yet another added value to working with The Barcode Warehouse, meaning customers only need to deal with us directly for anything related to their Datalogic devices.”
The Authorised Repair Centre will launch this December and is planned to cement the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
