Fundraising will be taking place in schools, offices and homes across the Advertiser area today for Children in Need.

We will be out and about covering events across the Newark area.

Last year’s appeal raised £60m, with the money going towards disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

It was the largest total raised in the appeal’s history.
