Newark and surrounding villages' most expensive streets revealed in report
The ten most expensive streets for average property price in Newark have been revealed.
House prices in Newark and Sherwood average £234,000, but many properties in the area have sold for much more — with houses on the most expensive street worth nearly double the national average house price of £286,000.
The most expensive street in the town is The Heights, with an average property value of £566,000.
It is followed by:
- Magnus Street with an average property value of £504,000.
- Willows Walk, averaging £483,000.
- Winterdale Close, averaging £467,000.
- Cranwell Close, averaging £466,000.
- The Park, averaging £454,000.
- The Avenue, averaging £449,000.
- London Road, averaging £435,000.
- De Havilland Way, averaging £423,000.
- Ribbon Pond Drive, averaging £400,000.
In neighbouring Balderton, Glebe Park was named the most expensive, with an average value of £860,000.
It was followed by The Oaks, Marron Close, Barnby Road and Sykes Lane.
In New Balderton the title went to The Woodwards, with an average value: £792,000.
Coddington saw it's highest average value of £584,000 on Orchard Park, whilst Newark Road, Collingham came in at an average value of £619,000.
Farndon saw the most expensive street of the report, with average property values nearing £1million.
Church Street, Farndon, recorded an average value of £913,000.
The report, by Varbes, shows the area also boasts large properties, with the street with the largest properties in Newark having average house size of 2,106 square feet, over two times the 950 square feet average home
