Newark-on-Sea beach in Newark Royal Market Place opened on Friday and will be up until mid August




Newark’s made its return on Friday and, despite the rain, families didn’t miss the opportunity to have a day of fun.

Newark-on-Sea will run until Sunday, August 13 in Newark’s Royal Market Place filling the days with live music, street food, fun activities and plenty of entertainment to enjoy.

Wet weather didn’t stop the children from building castles, playing with cars and sand, and listening to country artist, Jack Brett.

Radio Newark were broadcasting live from a stall in front of the Town Hall and had free water available for pick-up.

Due to weather conditions, the beach didn’t open on Saturday, but today, Sunday, August 6, it is open and waiting for families to go for a day of fun and relaxation.
