Gloworm Festival 2025 to return to Thoresby Park




A popular family festival organisers have announced that it will be returning home next year.

Gloworm Festival organisers decided to move the festival to Holme Pierrepont Country Park in Rushcliffe this year to be closer to the city and help the festival grow further.

However, after consideration and feedback from the public, the festival is set to return to Thoresby Park, the festival’s location for five years before this year’s move.

Next year’s festival will take place from August 8 to 10.

The tickets for Gloworm Festival 2025 will be on sale from Friday, August 30 at 10am at the festival’s website with packages for camping, glamping and hotels giving exclusive access to Friday night entertainment.

Thousands of families had an epic time at the 8th edition of Gloworm the long-running family festival at Holme Pierrepont Country Park.

The organisers were delighted with the reception to the festival’s new home, with 20,000 taking advantage of the accessible location on the outskirts of Nottingham.

Festival organiser Rebecca McGlone said: “We’ve had such a wonderful weekend at this year’s Gloworm Festival.

“It’s always a pleasure to see lots of smiley happy families enjoying the activities and entertainment we have on offer.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our main sponsor, Playmobil UK, along with all our other sponsors, partners, traders, suppliers, contractors and of course our amazing customers.

“Gloworm wouldn’t be Gloworm without them.”

Main stage action from children’s TV stars, character meet and greets, all the fun of the circus, a vintage fairground, creative play and workshops, live music, DJs and raves, outdoor play, and adventure activities put together another programme for Glowormers.

CBeebies Maddie Moate and Andy Day led the main stage action in the day with N Trance closing the show.
