Family-run restaurant Il Castello, Castlegate, Newark, to close

The family-run restaurant Il Castello, that specialises in authentic Italian cuisine, served in a friendly atmosphere, is the latest place in Newark to close.
It is understood the Castlegate restaurant owners are retiring.
Of the announcement on a Facebook post, one user wrote: "Very sad. We have enjoyed many meals there over the last 20 years and were looking forward to coming back."
"Loved this restaurant. My first date with the guy who became my husband was there," another said.
One person added: "My favourite restaurant and the best Italian food in the UK I've ever had. They will be very missed but I hope they enjoy they well-earned retirement together."
