Fatal crash

A 50-year-old Balderton man died following a road crash on Wednesday evening.

The man was driving a Ford F150 pick up truck along London Road, Balderton, at around 8.20pm when the vehicle collided with the central reservation.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital and was later pronounced dead.

A 41-year-old woman who was traveling in the car was also taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

No other vehicle was involved in the collision and no one else was injured.
