Crews have been called to the scene of a fire in a bank in Newark Market Place.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a small fire in Natwest at 10.06am.
A spokesperson from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire was located in a light fitting within the building.
"Firefighters isolated the electricity supply, extinguished the fire and left the building in the hands of staff.
"The incident had been dealt with by 10.28am."
