Fire in Caythorpe causes 'severe damage' to household waste

Fire crews attended a blaze out in the open in a village.

At 9.50am today (Monday), Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue officers from Grantham attended an incident in Gorse Hill Lane, Caythorpe.

The fire was described as "in the open".

It caused "severe damage" to five square metres of hedgerow and a quantity of household waste.
