Fire crews attending 2,000 sqm agricultural fire in Coddington




Nottinghamshire fire crews are currently attending a 2,000 sqm agricultural fire in Coddington.

Fire engines from Newark and Collingham were called to the incident on Balderton Lane, Coddington just before 3.20pm this afternoon.

It is thought the fire is fuelled by stubble in a farmer's field.

Attending the 2,000 sqm fire are two engines from Newark and one from Collingham.

Three hose reels are in use with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus deployed as well.
