Firefighters free one person as crash on A17 delays traffic near Leadenham




A person was rescued from a car following a crash on the A17.

Crews from Sleaford and Lincoln South fire stations attended the single-vehicle incident near Leadenham at 12.22pm yesterday (Saturday).

Firefighters used small tools to remove the car doors and assist the casualty from the vehicle, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said.

Traffic built up along the route, with witnesses reporting delays between the Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe junction and the lay-by at the bottom of Leadenham Hill.
