Flat fire

An emergency call to Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service suggested people were trapped inside a flat which was on fire at Main Road, Boughton, in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from Edwinstowe, Tuxford and Retford attended at 2.25am and used a hose to tackle the blaze.

The occupants were out of the flat when the crews arrived.

They were at the scene for 40 minutes dealing with the fire.
