Flooding is possible around the River Trent north of Cromwell Weir following persistent rainfall.
A flood alert, which means flooding is possible, has been issued by the Flood Information Service for the part of the River Trent which stretches up to Gainsborough.
The alert said levels on the tidal Trent remained high due to persistent rainfall and would stay high for the next few days.
"As a result, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible around the Church Laneham to Rampton Road area," said the alert.
"Further light rainfall is forecast tomorrow.
"We urge residents to prepare, remain vigilant and avoid walking and driving through flood water."
