A Government flood alert has been enforced.
Its flood information services states river levels have risen in numerous areas as a result of heavy rainfall.
Consequently, leading to the possibility of flooding on roads and farmland.
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around the tributaries of the River Trent, the River Greet, Potwell Dyke, Dover Beck, Cocker Beck and Thurgarton Beck.
River levels have also risen at the Lowdham river gauge.
Updates to follow, should the situation change.
